Science communication panel discussion, Shine Dome, Monday 6th July

Great science alone won’t solve the biodiversity and climate crises. For research to make a real difference, it has to reach the people who shape decisions: our politicians and policy makers, industries, and broader communities. So how can scientists communicate their work in ways that cut through, build trust, and drive change?

Join us for a panel discussion on science communication for real-world impact, featuring speakers with experience engaging audiences across government, industry, and the public. Together, we’ll explore practical strategies for making conservation science resonate beyond academia.

Hosted by A/Prof Jen Martin, this session will include plenty of time for audience questions and discussion.

This is a free event for conference/symposium delegates, but please indicate on your registration form if you are likely to attend to help with logistics and venue numbers.
